Distology Restructures Senior Leadership Team to Drive 2024 Growth Strategy

Distology, a cybersecurity solutions distributor, appoints new Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Technology Officer to support ambitious expansion plans.

Distology, a distributor of cybersecurity solutions, has announced significant changes to its senior leadership team, appointing a new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and a new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). These appointments are pivotal to Distology's growth strategy for 2024 and beyond, aligning with the company's plans for portfolio expansion in the upcoming financial year starting April 2024.

Sarah Geary, previously Director of Partner Marketing across EMEA and APAC, assumes the role of Chief Marketing Officer. Leveraging her extensive experience in partner programme development and vendor go-to-market strategies, Geary aims to enhance Distology's go-to-market strategy and partner value proposition.

"Marketing is too often seen as a supporting arm, and not the profitable function it could be," remarked Geary. "Hayley and the team at Distology recognise the crucial role marketing plays, and I'm excited to contribute to unlocking its full potential for our partners, sales, and overall business success."

Geary's appointment strengthens Distology's senior management team, with her previous collaborations with Hayley, Lance, and Andy facilitating a seamless transition. "It's rare to find an executive team that has equal representation of women," added Geary. "This signals the beginning of many successes for our new team, particularly in the male-dominated tech industry."

In tandem with Geary's appointment, Lance Williams, former Chief Product Officer, assumes the role of Chief Technology Officer. Williams, responsible for Distology's technology and services portfolio development, will now focus on amplifying the cybersecurity technology narrative and shaping the company's internal technology strategy.

"I'm thrilled to welcome Sarah to drive our growth and elevate the value we provide to our partners," commented Hayley Roberts, CEO of Distology. "Lance's transition to CTO is equally significant," Roberts continued. "His expertise and leadership will continue to shape our technology story and enhance our thought leadership in the industry. I look forward to our collective achievements."
