Bechtle has recently acquired iDoo Tech, a leading B2B Apple Authorized Reseller based in Zaragoza, Spain. With branches in Madrid and Barcelona, iDoo Tech boasts a workforce of 13 employees and achieved impressive revenues of 6.4 million euros in the fiscal year 2023. Rafa Cayuelas, with over 30 years of experience in Apple product sales, continues in his role as Managing Director, bringing invaluable expertise to the team.

iDoo Tech will retain its independence as a brand under Bechtle's ownership, with Rafa Cayuelas leading alongside his management team consisting of Eduardo Cayuelas and Fran Fuentes. Bechtle's acquisition of iDoo Tech follows its previous expansion in the Spanish market with the acquisition of Prosol, an IT system house, in August 2023.

Specialising in B2B sales of Apple products, including consulting, training, and support, iDoo Tech aims to become an Apple Authorised Enterprise Reseller under Bechtle's umbrella. This strategic move will enable iDoo Tech to offer an enhanced service and solution portfolio to enterprise customers, complementing its hardware sales.

Rafa Cayuelas, Managing Director of iDoo Tech, expressed optimism about the acquisition, stating, "We are delighted by this next step towards a successful future for iDoo Tech. As a part of the Bechtle Group, we see excellent avenues for further growth and the chance to offer our customers an even more wide-ranging portfolio."

Konstantin Ebert, COO of IT E-commerce at Bechtle AG, highlighted the significance of the acquisition, stating, "With iDoo Tech, we have a great opportunity to bolster our Apple business and foster relations with one of the most important vendor partners on the Spanish market. We are also gaining a well-established team that will help us achieve our growth targets."

Bechtle, which has had a presence in Spain since 2001 through its e-commerce company, Bechtle direct, now employs approximately 150 staff in the country. As customary, the financial details of the acquisition remain confidential.
