Westcon-Comstor is expanding its partnership with Vectra AI, a leader in hybrid attack detection, investigation, and response, into the UK & Ireland and the Nordics markets of Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

The distribution agreement will see Westcon drive adoption of Vectra’s AI-driven threat detection and response platform, creating new revenue opportunities for channel partners in the new countries.

It builds on existing distribution agreements between Westcon and Vectra in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Portugal and Benelux.

Earlier this year Vectra launched its pioneering Vectra MXDR (Managed Extended Detection and Response) service. Like its threat detection and response platform, Vectra MXDR integrates with products from other Westcon vendors.

The UK&I and Nordics distribution agreement creates opportunities for channel partners to leverage Vectra technology combined with other key elements of the Westcon portfolio through the distributor’s 3D Lab, which enables multi-vendor security solutions to be tested against specific use cases in a dynamic virtual demo environment.

“Vectra AI is one of our key growth vendors so it’s exciting to be broadening the scope of our collaboration to new markets within Europe,” said Daniel Hurel, Vice President of Cyber Security & Next Gen Solutions EMEA at Westcon-Comstor. “We look forward to bringing Vectra’s innovative, AI-driven portfolio to new addressable markets, driving growth for our partners through our value-added services and education and enablement programmes.”

“Westcon’s security expertise and channel reach are crucial in our mission to empower end-users to proactively stop advanced attacks,” said Jerome Jullien, VP of Channel Sales EMEA, Vectra AI. “Expanding this partnership means Vectra AI's detection capabilities reach new markets, benefiting customers and creating exciting opportunities for our channel partners.”
