WithSecure (formerly F-Secure Business) has appointed Samantha Cotton as Head of Channel for UK & Ireland. The new appointment demonstrates WithSecure’s commitment to bolstering relations with existing partners. Cotton will play a pivotal role as WithSecure continues to expand its partner network and build on growing demand for its cyber security products and services.

Bringing more than a decade of experience in cyber security, Cotton is a highly accomplished executive sales and partner leader. Cotton joins WithSecure from Bitdefender and previously held channel manager roles at Claranet and e92plus – creating, executing and growing their partner sales strategy and base of regional channel partners.

“Samantha’s experience and market knowledge makes her the ideal leader as we focus on the next phase of channel growth in the UK.” said Dean Porter, Regional VP at WithSecure.

He continues: “Good partnerships are at the heart of our business. This appointment underscores the importance we place in supporting our network of partners and providing them with the best value and highest levels of service to grow their business.”

WithSecure continues to develop its portfolio to provide partners and customers with security solutions designed to meet the challenges of the fast-changing threat landscape. In May, WithSecure launched Elements Exposure Management to help organisations predict and prevent breaches providing 360 visibility across organisation’s external attack surface and internal security posture.

“Businesses face a host of new challenges in discovering and acting on cyber threats. They need solutions which provide fast and effective action, and their partners are a vital lifeline in supporting them with this,” said Cotton.

“WithSecure stands out in the market not only for its service innovation and best-in class cyber security products, but also for recognising the importance of working together with its partner network. I’m looking forward to continuing to make sure we bring this value to even more partners across the region.”
