Zyxel Networks has unveiled an updated programme that will enhance experiences for managed services provider (MPS) partners and enable them to use the AI-driven capabilities within its Nebula cloud management platform to drive further growth and expansion of their businesses. In addition, Zyxel is seeking more partners who want to build their own remote monitoring and managed services offering around the Zyxel Nebula cloud platform.

The latest AI and machine learning features of Nebula have made it an even better foundation for the development of a managed services business, helping partners to identify and address issues before they become actual problems. This makes it easier for MSPs to manage more customers and locations and thus scale and grow their businesses. Further enhancements make it easier for partners to meet the integrated digital security needs of their customers.

In addition, with licensing sales of Nebula growing fast, Zyxel is looking to recruit additional partners that are ready to develop and grow their own managed services business. Scores of partners that have engaged on the company’s MSP Partner programme have already become established and flourishing MSPs. Zyxel now wants to help those partners move to the next stage of their development and bring new partners on board to emulate their success.

Rachel Rothwell, Senior Regional Director, UK and Ireland for Zyxel Networks, stated: “The growth of MSP partners that’s been fuelled by Nebula is already a tremendous success story – and we now want to help our partners write the next chapter with an enhanced programme that gives them an even better experience and an AI-driven platform that will help them scale and grow.”

Zyxel is making extensive new sales and marketing resources available to MSP partners has updated its margin structures to make it even more beneficial for partners to attract new customers and grow their manages services business. All partners will continue to receive personal, hands-on support from the UK-based team.

There are still plenty of opportunities to go after, said Rothwell – especially in the SMB market. “The MSP market is set to grow by 12 percent every year for the next three years1 and most of that will come from SMBs. Awareness and confidence are growing but crucially, SMBs want managed services to be provided by their trusted or local IT solutions provider. These are the kind of businesses we already have on our MSP programme and we are now ready to bring additional partners on-board and to help them to start building and growing their managed services proposition.”

She believes it’s the right time for more resellers to embark on their own journey. “While many partners want to become MSPs, many don’t know where to start. Our programme makes it easy for partners to get onboard, understand the opportunity, define their proposition, and execute on those plans. And we stay with them every step of the way while they do that.”

Nebula provides partners with a simple way to monitor and manage multiple customers and locations remotely. Devices can be pre-configured for automated installation and Nebula makes use of AI and machine learning to enhance performance and protection across the network.

More than 100 Zyxel devices – switches, wireless access points and security appliances – are Nebula-enabled and by providing enterprise functionality at SMB prices. Zyxel makes it easy for customers to invest and for partners to sell its products and their own managed services.

As many Zyxel MSP Partners have already built successful managed services businesses using Nebula as the foundation, new partners can be sure it will work for them too, said Rothwell. “We have proven that Nebula is an ideal platform on which to build a managed services business and we confidently expect more partners to emulate that success and become fully-fledged MSPs.”

Zyxel’s MSP Partner Programme offers full technical and sales training and provides access to extensive resources for business development support. The company actively supports partners during the initial stages to ensure that they get their new business activity and revenue stream up and running successfully.

To become an accredited Zyxel MSP Partner, businesses need to have at least one member of staff qualified as a Zyxel Certified Network Engineer. They must also have completed sales training. As well as personalised support, all MSP Partners receive a multi-tenanted license for the Nebula platform.
