Schneider Electric has appointed Hanne Sjøberg as its new Vice President, Channels, Secure Power division, Europe, and will lead the continued growth of its channel organization - delivering its mission to be its customers trusted partner for sustainability and efficiency.

Hanne brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles and will utilize her deep understanding of customer and partner relationships to help drive strategic growth across the region - addressing the accelerated demand for data center and electrical infrastructure, critical power systems, and sustainability services.

Having joined Schneider Electric in 2016, Hanne has held roles across customer satisfaction, human resources (HR) and business development for both the Baltic and Nordic regions. For the past two and a half years, she has also held the role of VP Customer Satisfaction and Quality, where she spearheaded new initiatives transforming the customer experience and quality of the interaction for the end-user.

Hanne’s efforts were instrumental in embedding a sales and customer-focused culture and will be integral in delivering Schneider Electric’s partner-first strategy following the introduction of its new EcoXpert Partner Program in July 2024.

Hanne succeeds David Terry, Schneider Electric's longstanding VP IT Channels, Europe, who has led the company through a period of unprecedented success and growth. During his tenure, he has established multiple, high-profile partnerships with large-scale channel organizations including Arrow Electronics, ATEA and Bechtle, overseen the inception and delivery of new partner and sustainability initiatives, and driven growth for Schneider Electric’s data center, critical power, and sustainability solutions across the region.

David will move into a newly formed role leading Schneider Electric’s AI Ecosystem ensuring the channel is able to navigate the growth demand of this megatrend, while helping partners and end-users leverage highly resilient and energy efficient data center infrastructure to support their AI workloads.

“I’m delighted to name Hanne Sjøberg our new European VP for Channels, her passion for people, sustainability and innovation will be integral to both the success of our new EcoXpert Partner Program, and in building on the successes of our forthcoming product, commercial and partner initiatives”, said Marc Garner, Senior Vice President, Schneider Electric, Secure Power, Europe. “I’d also like to take the opportunity to thank David Terry for his exceptional channel leadership during the last eleven years and look forward to our continued work together as we target the evolving ecosystem around AI.”

Speaking on her appointment, Hanne Sjøberg said, “I have always been fascinated by the speed of transformation taking place within the technology sector, and more so considering the growing demand for AI, critical IT, and sustainability solutions. I’m excited to begin my new role as VP for Channels, Europe, and look forward to working with our partners to ensure they’re equipped with the tools, training and support to meet these evolving market opportunities.”

Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Hanne held the role of Managing Director at TD SYNNEX Denmark - formerly Tech Data - leading its Danish arm for five years and helping to deliver a global strategy to transform its sales and customer initiatives. She begins her tenure as Vice President, Channels, Secure Power division, Schneider Electric, Europe with immediate effect.
