A proactive approach to threat detection

Arrow Electronics launches scalable managed Micro-SOC service.

Global technology provider Arrow Electronics is introducing Arrow Micro-SOC (security operations centre), a managed service designed to proactively monitor Microsoft environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and other critical sources.

Arrow Micro-SOC delivers a combination of access to Arrow’s dedicated security teams with a low-touch SOC that uses Microsoft's threat detection and response capabilities. This low-commitment subscription model provides a comprehensive security solution that, in addition to alerting to attacks, provides reporting, recommendations, and a security score to drive further insights.

Customers can scale their Arrow Micro-SOC subscriptions as their needs change, with dedicated SOC staff available to serve as an extension of in-house teams for everything from install and configuration to monitoring and analysis.

Mark Barcham, EMEA head of services sales and go-to-market for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business, said, “The security landscape continues to grow in complexity, with increasingly sophisticated, persistent, and multifaceted attacks. No business, large or small, is immune. Arrow’s Micro-SOC as-a-service overcomes many of the challenges that our channel partners face, particularly concerning the availability of security expertise, the expense of building in-house SOC capabilities, and the daily challenge of staying ahead of threats.”

This managed service has been designed to make it easy for channel partners to effectively protect their end-customers’ environments and assets by harnessing the skills and experience of Arrow as a complement to their own existing teams, combined with the very latest Microsoft security technologies.
