The integration of Atech not only increases the Group’s headcount to 650, but also deepens its capabilities in Microsoft Azure infrastructure, modern workplace solutions, and managed security services. Atech’s Azure Expert MSP status and advanced security credentials further enhance iomart’s capacity to support its 10,000-strong customer base with cutting-edge cloud transformations.

This acquisition follows iomart’s purchase of Extrinsica Global in 2023 and consolidates its standing as a key player in the UK’s cloud market. Atech CEO, Ryan Langley, will now assume the role of Chief Technology Officer at iomart, bringing his expertise to the Group’s future technology strategy.

Lucy Dimes, CEO of iomart, described the deal as a pivotal step in the company’s growth strategy: “Atech’s reputation for excellence in Microsoft solutions and its highly accredited team are a perfect complement to our existing capabilities. This acquisition strengthens our ability to offer a complete range of cloud services to our customers, ensuring we continue to meet their evolving needs.”

Ryan Langley echoed this sentiment, adding: “Joining iomart presents a fantastic opportunity to drive further innovation and growth. With our combined expertise, we’re well-positioned to deliver even greater value to our customers, enabling them to modernise their operations and leverage the full potential of cloud technology.”

The acquisition underlines iomart’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the high-growth cloud computing sector.
