As organizations continue their digital transformation in industrial environments, it’s becoming essential that security teams have complete visibility and correlation across both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) networks.

“This partnership with Yokogawa marks a significant milestone in our mission to secure industrial environments worldwide,” said Robert M. Lee, CEO and Co-founder of Dragos. “By combining Dragos’s industry-leading OT cybersecurity Platform with Yokogawa’s extensive expertise in industrial automation, we’re providing organizations with unparalleled visibility and protection for their critical infrastructure. This collaboration enables us to deliver comprehensive OT-native network visibility and monitoring, ensuring that our joint customers can confidently navigate their digital transformation journey while maintaining the highest levels of operational safety and reliability.”

The Dragos OT Cybersecurity Platform is focused on reducing cyber risk to industrial environments. It provides visibility into assets and vulnerabilities, detects cyber threats to industrial systems, and enables efficient response through forensic investigation and OT-specific playbooks.

Customers using the Dragos Platform and the Yokogawa CENTUM VP distributed control system (DCS) will benefit from:

Validated Integration: Dragos Platform has been validated within Yokogawa’s CENTUM VP distributed control system (DCS).

Comprehensive Visibility: Enhanced visibility into the CENTUM VP environment, allowing industrial organizations to discover and monitor assets, track and mitigate vulnerabilities, and leverage traffic monitoring information to investigate issues and incidents effectively.

Advanced Threat Detection and Response: Fast, efficient, and effective threat detection, response, and mitigation to help maintain safety and uptime. Codified threat detections, response playbooks, and vulnerability guidance written specifically for OT by the Dragos Threat Intelligence team will be delivered weekly through content packs. These updates ensure organizations are always equipped with the latest defenses for ICS networks, including CENTUM DCS-specific and other vendors’ hardware. These content packs ensure that all current detections, analytics, and response playbooks are readily available for cybersecurity and operations professionals.

CENTUM VP-Specific Capabilities: Dragos Platform incorporates CENTUM VP DCS platform-specific capabilities, including protocol dissectors, asset characterizations, threat behavior analytics, and investigation playbooks. These features expand Yokogawa’s cybersecurity assessment capabilities and enhance threat detection and response processes.

Global OT Cybersecurity Services: Joint customers of Dragos and Yokogawa gain access to a full range of OT cybersecurity services available throughout Yokogawa’s global services network, catering to the unique needs of processing and manufacturing industries.

Collaborative Expertise: Benefit from the combined knowledge and experience of Dragos and Yokogawa, including educational resources such as whitepapers, webinars, and other materials to enhance the capabilities of cybersecurity defenders in industrial environments.

“At Yokogawa, we recognize the critical importance of cybersecurity in today’s rapidly evolving industrial landscape,” said Katsunori Iijima, General Manager of Cybersecurity Management at Yokogawa. “Our partnership with Dragos allows us to offer our customers a best-in-class OT security solution that seamlessly integrates with our CENTUM VP platform. This collaboration enhances our ability to provide comprehensive cybersecurity services on a global scale, ensuring that our customers can focus on their core operations while we safeguard their critical assets. Together with Dragos, we’re committed to advancing the state of industrial cybersecurity and empowering organizations to build resilient and secure operational environments.”
