Atos will provide managed services, starting with the seamless migration of Utmost Life and Pensions’ IT systems to the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. The secure cloud solution will increase business agility by lowering infrastructure costs and providing the ongoing stability, security and compliance necessary in the highly regulated pensions industry.

Mark Francis, Chief Financial Officer at Utmost Life and Pensions said: “It’s vital that we have a best-in-class IT foundation to provide a reliable and responsive service to the over 290,000 policyholders that Utmost Life and Pensions protects and helps save for the long term. The cloud platform provides us with the scalability we require to meet our ambitious long term strategic growth goals.”

Atos was selected to lead the project due to its established expertise in efficient cloud transformation, and deep understanding of Utmost Life and Pensions’ operational needs due to the long-standing partnership between the two companies which began in 2012.

“Our journey with Utmost reflects a decade of trust and collaboration, evolving into a complete cloud transformation which will enable a more resilient and adaptable IT foundation.” said Lewis Herbert, COO – Private Sector at Atos UK&I. “Atos drives innovation through reliable, flexible cloud services. This project is a testament to our team’s dedication and expertise, and we look forward to a successful transformation with Utmost and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead!”

The 18-month project will also ensure that the employee experience is enhanced with improved flexibility, reliability and mobility to help meet the needs of a modern workforce.
