Arrow Electronics and Actian collaborate

Delivering advanced data solutions in the UK and Ireland.

Arrow Electronics has signed an agreement with Actian, the data and analytics division of HCLSoftware, to deliver advanced data intelligence solutions to businesses across the UK and Ireland. The collaboration aims to help channel partners meet the dynamic data needs of modern enterprises and unlock the full potential of data for business.

To maximise the benefits of advanced analytics and AI initiatives, businesses must be able to integrate, discover, analyse, govern, and manage data across the organisation. Actian simplifies data management and intelligence with flexible solutions that enable access to reliable and accurate data, fostering improved data integrity and cross-functional collaboration to achieve desired business results.

Under the agreement, Arrow will distribute the full portfolio of Actian data management and intelligence solutions, which includes business intelligence, governance, cloud, mobility, IoT, and edge computing. Actian’s solutions provide reliable performance in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.

"Today's data environments are more complex than ever, and organisations need the right tools and expertise to unlock the full potential of their data to drive meaningful and trusted insights," said Jennifer Jackson, chief marketing officer at Actian. "By combining Actian's powerful data intelligence solutions with Arrow's proven expertise in deploying and managing data solutions, we empower resellers and customers to accelerate their journey to becoming truly data-driven."

“Actian products provide our channel partners with flexible, scalable options for managing data with minimal compromise,” said Anthony Dobson, regional sales director, UK and Ireland, for Arrow’s enterprise computing solutions business. “We are excited to make these powerful data solutions more accessible to our customers in the UK and Ireland.”

In addition to the Actian solutions, channel partners will have access to technical expertise to provide customers with a data solution best fit for their business, training and enablement workshops, and experts skilled in deploying and managing data solutions across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
