Schneider Electric has been named a ‘Champion’ in the inaugural 2025 Canalys Global Channel Leadership Matrix. Canalys, the world-leading IT Channel research organization, named Schneider Electric a Global Channel Leadership Champion for its ongoing commitment to increasing its share of channel business, and enhancements to programs and tools.

According to Canalys, ‘Champions’ show high levels of excellence in channel management compared with their industry peers while also improving their performance in the previous year and investing for the future. Champions share some common characteristics, including a strategic commitment to driving growth through and with partners, investments in partner profitability and ease of doing business, a focus on program innovation and high levels of partner satisfaction. AWS, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, NetApp and Palo Alto Networks were also crowned as ‘Champions.’ Judges cited Schneider Electric’s dedication to the channel, investment in partner programs and sustainability as key strengths, in particular pointing out:

Enhancement of Schneider Electric’s partner program with the launch of its EcoXpert Data Center and Critical Infrastructure Certifications. The program offers advanced training, certifications, profitability benefits, and dedicated support, providing partners with the opportunity to deliver solutions across the entire Schneider Electric portfolio, beyond just IT.

Schneider Electric’s commitment to enhancing tools and initiatives to drive channel business growth across key verticals.

The company's position at the centre of the rapidly evolving data center industry, and in particular the industry’s evolving energy demands because of AI and IT/OT convergence, making Schneider Electric increasingly relevant to channel partners and end customers.

Schneider Electric’s focus on sustainability, noting it is a key opportunity for partners, particularly to help customers to reduce energy consumption and emissions.

The launch of a Sustainability School for partners to help them build sustainable practices. So far, more than 1,000 IT partners globally have completed the training.

“This award reflects our firm commitment to our partners and their success, as well as prioritizing optimal channel management,” said Hanne Sjoeberg, VP Channels & Operations, Secure Power Europe, Schneider Electric. “It is a great honor to play a crucial role building strong and mutually beneficial partner ecosystems. We remain dedicated to continually innovating our programs to help partners decarbonize and take every opportunity we can to support partner satisfaction.”

“The partner-led go-to-market strategy continues to grow in the technology industry, with it becoming clear how partners can help to drive scale, support sales efficiency and improve the customer experience,” said Rachel Brindley, Senior Director, Channels at Canalys. “Vendor success increasingly relies upon diverse partner ecosystems. Schneider Electric has built strong relationships with its channel partners, who value the company’s support and recognise its commitment to collaboratively driving future growth, underpinned by dedication to continuously improving programs and processes.”

The Global Channel Leadership Matrix report assesses the worldwide channel performance of 24 technology vendors with at least US$12 billion in global sales (over 25% delivered through partners) or between US$3 billion and US$12 billion in global sales (over 50% delivered through partners). A vendor’s position in the Canalys Leadership Matrix is based on channel partner feedback collected over the last 12 months via the Canalys Vendor Benchmark, recent performance metrics and an assessment of their channel performance and prospects by a panel of Canalys analysts.
