DXC Technology has announced a strategic alliance with 7AI to launch the DXC Agentic Security Operations Center (SOC). This collaboration marks a significant moment in the industry, as the integration of autonomous AI agents into DXC's managed security operations promises to enhance speed, accuracy, and global coverage. By leveraging 7AI's advanced platform, DXC aims to optimise its internal SOC capabilities significantly.

In the coming years, AI is set to revolutionise security operations, transforming core SOC tasks through automation. The partnership between DXC and 7AI signals a fundamental shift from traditional manual approaches to the use of specialised AI agents for alert triage, threat investigation, and incident response. The DXC Agentic SOC aims to deliver measurable improvements across speed, scale, and cost to its worldwide clientele.

By eliminating traditional manual bottlenecks in alert processing, the DXC Agentic SOC is projected to save customers substantial time, reducing investigation time by up to 2.5 hours per alert and significantly decreasing false positive rates. This approach not only saves time but also ensures that analyst resources are optimally utilised.

"The use of AI enhances security efforts by boosting efficiency, augmenting human skills, and enabling SOCs to scale and deliver greater value in the face of growing cyber threats," said Chris Drumgoole, President, Global Infrastructure Services at DXC. "The future of security operations isn't about more tools or more automation, it's about intelligent AI agents that deliver measurably better outcomes. By partnering with 7AI, we're pioneering the next phase of managed security services, delivering better insights, faster response times and, ultimately, superior protections for our customers."

Remarkable achievements are already underway, as seen in 7AI's existing projects. The 7AI platform has reportedly saved security teams over 224,000 analyst hours, translating to significant cost savings. Future projections are even more promising, with anticipated savings exceeding $100 million by 2025. The platform's dynamic reasoning capability innovatively tackles novel threats in real-time, dispensing with the need for pre-defined playbooks or rules.

Further to the technical prowess, this partnership underscores a robust support system. Customers can benefit from DXC's security expertise for both implementation and ongoing support, alongside comprehensive incident response and breach management services. Moreover, DXC leverages its extensive network to enhance 7AI's capabilities with anonymised threat intelligence, ensuring improved threat detection whilst maintaining strict client data confidentiality.

"DXC's global cybersecurity scale - serving hundreds of customers, across 25 delivery centers that process 4.5 million daily security threats – provide the real-world data environment essential for advancing our AI. This combination of proven security leadership and operational breadth makes DXC the ideal partner for delivering truly agentic security solutions to the enterprise market," said Lior Div, CEO and Co-Founder of 7AI.
