BlackFog, a cybersecurity company, has forged a significant partnership with Exertis Enterprise, a prominent technology solutions distributor. This collaboration is intended to enhance the offering of advanced protection against unauthorised data exfiltration and emerging AI-enabled threats across the UK and mainland Europe.

The alliance offers resellers and service providers a unique opportunity to deliver cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, equipped with BlackFog’s pioneering on-device anti data exfiltration (ADX) technology. By doing so, they aim to redefine data security for modern enterprises, leveraging trusted local expertise for optimum impact.

BlackFog's Founder and CEO, Dr. Darren Williams, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, saying, "At BlackFog, we are committed to redefining data security for the modern enterprise with our innovative anti data exfiltration (ADX) technology. Our partnership with Exertis, one of the UK/I's fastest growing technology distributors, marks a significant milestone in extending our reach across the region."

Additionally, Dominic Ryles, Sales and Alliance Director at Exertis Enterprise, underscored the strategic importance of the partnership. He highlighted the shift of cybersecurity from a mere defensive strategy to a dynamic commercial differentiator, affirming that organisations today require adaptive measures that evolve at the pace of the threats they face.

Recent trends reveal that most cyberattacks involve some variant of data exfiltration. In response, the importance of preventing data from leaving devices and networks has surged. BlackFog’s ADX platform steps in as a preventive layer, complementing existing EDR/XDR and network controls through the following mechanisms:

  • Blocking data exfiltration: Utilises on-device behavioural controls and real-time policy enforcement.
  • Disrupting attacker kill chains: Thwarts tactics associated with ransomware, double/triple extortion, and command-and-control traffic.
  • Countering AI-enabled tactics: Ensures continuous, adaptive protection that evolves in response to changing threat landscapes.
  • Supporting compliance: Lowers the risk of sensitive data breaches, thus reducing regulatory exposure.

As cyber threats continue to advance, partnerships like the one between BlackFog and Exertis Enterprise equip organisations around the world to transform cybersecurity measures into strategic advantages, ensuring resilience amidst a rapidly changing digital landscape.
