inforcer launches Copilot Manager for AI service enablement for MSPs

inforcer introduces Copilot Manager to support MSPs in delivering AI services, including features related to monitoring and managing Shadow AI usage.

inforcer, a Microsoft 365 multi-tenant management software provider for Managed Service Providers (MSPs), has introduced its latest feature, Copilot Manager. The addition is designed to support MSPs in productising and delivering AI services in response to growing demand from the Small and Medium-sized Business (SMB) market.

MSPs are operating in a period where AI presents new service opportunities. Many MSPs have traditionally faced challenges related to infrastructure and expertise when scaling AI services. inforcer’s Copilot-focused service model is intended to support the development of AI-based services.

The company’s Copilot Readiness Assessment tool is already used by MSPs to evaluate customers’ Microsoft 365 tenants and support Purview Data Loss Prevention capabilities. This forms part of its broader positioning for AI-related management within Microsoft environments.

The rise of Shadow AI is identified as both a risk and a consideration for MSPs. According to cited research, 80% of SMB employees use unauthorised AI tools in the workplace, increasing potential exposure to data security risks. inforcer’s tools are positioned to help MSPs assess and address these risks, and to support customer education and compliance-related work.

The Copilot Manager feature is designed to provide insights into Shadow AI usage, including application usage trends and user activity levels. It also supports identification of potential risks and the application of security measures, alongside multi-tenant visibility intended to support compliance guidance and responsible AI usage.

It also seeks to enable MSPs to gain visibility into AI adoption across customer environments, with the aim of identifying licensing opportunities and supporting assessment of return on investment (ROI). Monitoring Shadow AI trends is also intended to support risk management activities.

Together, these capabilities are positioned to support MSPs in developing AI-related service offerings that combine service delivery with risk awareness.

Copilot Manager is presented as an extension of inforcer’s tools for MSPs engaging with AI adoption, with a focus on supporting service development and management within Microsoft 365 environments.
