How to avoid costly backup storage mistakes

Bill Andrews, ExaGrid President and CEO, addresses many of the misconceptions around the cost of different backup storage options, with many end users struggling to understand the long-term costs associated with CAPEX, Lease, Subscription, Consumption and the Public Cloud models. While most end users are embracing a hybrid IT model, where cost is one important factor among others (such as flexibility, scalability, security, speed of deployment and compliance), Bill cautions that, without a true understanding of backup storage lifecycle costs as part of their overall decision-making process, end users may well make a very expensive mistake. He also gives a ‘bonus’ preview of what to expect from ExaGrid during 2025.
