The focus of this one-day event organised by the Data Centre Alliance (DCA) will be to share knowledge and best practice on efficiency and sustainability in the modern datacentre.

A founding member of the DCA, Airedale International will join speakers from Arup, DEFRA, the University of Leeds and other industry leaders. In addition to new technologies, research and development, there will be sessions on standards and the outlooks of EU and government funded projects.

Airedale International’s NPD expert, David Wilks, will lead an interactive session on improving efficiency and reducing datacentre operating costs. Using CFD modelling and actual site data to illustrate best practice, he will demonstrate the benefits and constraints of available containment options and the level of efficiency achievable with each application type. David, who joined Airedale as a graduate Mechanical Engineer from the University of Leeds in 2006, leads Airedale’s Precision Air Conditioning NPD team.
