All GFI MailEssentials users are able to take advantage of BitDefender and ThreatTrack VIPRE anti-virus (AV) engines to detect email-borne pathogens. For even greater protection, users may also subscribe to additional AV services from McAfee, Kaspersky and now, Germany-based Avira. With Avira powered AV detection now at their disposal, administrators can deploy the best combination of AV engines they feel will provide their organisation with the most complete detection capabilities possible.
GFI MailEssentials 2014 users now also have greater anti-spam capabilities with the introduction of Intelligent Language Detection – a new plugin that allows administrators and end-users to set spam policies based on language detection.

GFI MailEssentials 2014 also provides email management, content filtering and attachment filtering. With more powerful spam detection capabilities, with Intelligent Language Detection, and the ability to leverage up to five of the top anti-virus engines, now including Avira, MailEssentials provides complete email protection.
