Hardware failures to blame as business disruptions rise

Sungard Availability Services (Sungard AS) has revealed that UK invocations have hit their highest levels since 2009. Overall incidents of downtime, in which staff are unable to work from their usual office or access business critical systems, also rose by over one third (38 per cent) since 2013, leading to concerns that organisations are failing to sufficiently invest in the strategies and solutions required to maintain All-Time™ availability.
