Tegile Systems says that David Bangs, a proven sales leader with significant revenue success and rapid growth experience at storage hardware and software companies, has joined the company as senior vice president of worldwide sales. This latest hiring continues the rapid expansion of its sales and distribution channel executive team to meet the growing demand for its line of IntelliFlash™ arrays. The Tegile worldwide sales teams report to Bangs.

HGST and NEC have announced a PCIe SSD Appliance for Microsoft® SQL Server® – a performance-driven reference architecture built on NEC Express 5800 scalable enterprise server series and high-performance HGST FlashMAX II PCIe server-mounted flash storage. New and used car dealer Citygate has been able to reduce costs, simplify IT management and increase the flexibility of its business operation since partnering with Data Centre and communications specialist Node4 by implementing a centrally managed cloud-based system. The IT and telephony infrastructure upgrade has also enabled Citygate to expand to two new business locations, with the IT provisions up and running within 24 hours at both sites.
