CA Technologies has entered into a definitive agreement to divest its CA arcserve data protection business (arcserve) to Marlin Equity Partners (Marlin).

Novelties of the new version are inter alia manually triggered data archiving, usage of additional storage systems, optimized integration of Blu-ray Disc libraries as well as support of Windows Server 2012 R2.
