Kevin Sparks, EMC UK District Manager, Service Providers, stated “Computacenter grew revenues through creating greater intimacy with our mutual customers and the delivery of outcome based solution sales. They notably grew the number of million dollars spent by customers by 300%.”

Neil Eke, Solutions Group – Director, Datacenter & Storage comments “This EMC Award win is a further endorsement of how we are successfully responding to our customer’s challenges with EMC. Our partnership continues to gain momentum and a major development has been that we are not just close at an executive level, but our teams are very close too. There’s a great energy where it counts – on the frontline – and it’s clear that we share the same strong culture and desire to win.”

Neil continues “Both organisations have repeatedly raised the bar. EMC has shown that they are committed to a partner-centric model and that they like the way we do business, our values fit with theirs, meaning our proposition to our customers is more powerful as a result of that joint commitment.”

Driven by the EMC strategy to move 75% of its Enterprise customers to a channel only model and as part of Computacenter’s A* engagement initiative, the partnership grew year-on-year revenues for EMC by 40% in 2012.

Kevin Sparks concludes “We have an excellent partnership with Computacenter and we are pleased to be able to acknowledge the relationship we have together and the continued hard work in the channel with this award. 2012 was a significant in the supply chain and IT consolidation space and we are looking forward to the continued work in 2013.”
