Miller renews with Phoenix for 100 per cent continuity coverage

Three-year contract renewal reflects ‘excellent’ services.

Miller Insurance Services LLP (Miller), the independent specialist insurance and reinsurance broker, has extended its contract with business continuity, hosting, Cloud and managed services provider, Phoenix, for a further three years, continuing its commitment to deliver 100 per cent continuity coverage across the business.


Phoenix currently provides Miller with a full range of business continuity services, which cover everything from syndicated seats, automated offsite backups, replication and data centre space, to emergency office services and IT disaster recovery.


The renewal, which represents a 50 per cent increase of services, based on the usage of Phoenix’s online back-up solution, means that Miller is able to competently demonstrate its ability to protect both data and employees in the event of an invocation. As an international business working in such a time sensitive market, having a resilient IT infrastructure is vital to the growth and security of the business.


Previously, Miller was using two separate suppliers for business continuity and data back-up services. The move to Phoenix 3 years ago, allowed it to consolidate the two services to one provider, reducing the management overhead of dealing with multiple suppliers, all while delivering a robust and more cost effective business continuity approach.


David Garwood, Head of IT Infrastructure and Support at Miller, states that Miller’s decision to renew its contract with Phoenix reaffirms the partnership’s drive to support first class services for its clients:
