Egnyte acquires Polish software company

Egnyte has announced an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in Poland-based software company, Bema Sp z oo. Bema has provided advanced research & development capabilities for Egnyte’s solutions and this acquisition brings these valuable capabilities in-house. The acquisition also provides a strategic base for Egnyte to further expand its global reach.

“Egnyte has a growing customer base of over 30,000 companies and a million users located all over the world,” said Vineet Jain, Egnyte founder and CEO. “As part of Egnyte’s continuing growth, this acquisition will help us further broaden our solutions and expand our global footprint in development and support.”


This acquisition is expected to close in the 2nd quarter of this year and Egnyte plans to expand the Poland-based team by a factor of 4 over the next 12 months. The growth of Egnyte Poland will help Egnyte with the increasing demand of European customers and partners.
