8 Solutions’ business development team expands

8 Solutions, a specialist at increasing efficiency and mitigating against the risk of down-time in critical facilities, has further strengthened its sales team with the appointment of John Marshall as Business Development Manager.

John brings over ten years’ experience in sales, expertise in project management and customer service to the team. He has previously held roles at Rittal which provides complete data centre infrastructure, from IT enclosures and racks to power and cooling, John also worked at Prism Enclosures, manufacturers and suppliers of high quality server racks and data cabinets. Both these roles involved a client base of blue chip companies, generating multi-million pound revenues.


Commenting on his new position, John said: “Only one quarter of data centre managers are carrying out deep cleaning as recommended by manufactures and my remit is to communicate the risks that unchecked contamination can have on data centre hardware. We have a strong business development team at 8 Solutions and I’m looking forward to helping the business.”
