Launched in November 2013, Datacentre Distribution is a datacentre product-focused distributor with the capability of sourcing and delivering a complete datacentre solution to global IT resellers.

Commenting on the new premises, Craig Newell, Business Development Manager for Datacentre Distribution, said: “Following the successful re-brand and launch of our Datacentre Distribution division which focuses on leading technology brands such as Emerson Network Power and Server Technology, we have opened our new Harrogate office to separate this part of the company and give the division its own identity in the market.

“Datacentre Distribution is a trading style of Gamma Global so we are still using Gamma’s infrastructure and back office over in Whitefield, Manchester to fully support us. We have dedicated quotes and operations teams who will be on hand to offer resellers for pre- and post-sale assistance – it’s all about further improving our customer service across the board.”

Continues Craig: “The new office means new jobs too and our newest recruit is Anthony McDonough, Datacentre Infrastructure Sales Specialist, who has an extensive IT distribution background.”

Andy Kelly, Sales Director for Gamma Global, adds: “We are expecting to triple Datacentre Distribution’s revenue to £10 million by 2016 as well as growing personnel and sales staff numbers along the way. We are also keeping our eyes open for complementary vendors to fit within our Datacentre focused portfolio.

“Next year we will be establishing a demonstration suite specifically for resellers to train and demo our existing portfolio of equipment at the Harrogate office. We would also like to see Datacentre Distribution become a separate ‘trading as’ business of Gamma Global in the near future.”
