Bob Maxted joins the team as a technical instructor. A true telecommunications specialist, Bob has over 30 years’ of experience within the industry. More recently, since 2005, he has been responsible for the physical infrastructure design, build and project management of large scale data centre facilities for multinational organisations. His focus at CNet will be the delivery of the popular Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP®) program, a comprehensive seven day program that explores and addresses the many elements associated with managing a data centre; successful delegates gain both an industry recognised qualification and official CDCMP® certification. The program is delivered in locations throughout the world. Bob will progress to deliver further programs from The Global Data Centre Education Framework covering subjects from data centre design through to energy and audit.

Andrew Stevens, Managing Director at CNet Training adds, “We are delighted to have Bob on board, his impressive background will prove to be a big asset to both CNet and our delegates alike. Delegates will certainly gain added value by benefiting from the shared technical knowledge and first-hand experience Bob can bring to the classroom. This is an exciting time for CNet, we are on a technical recruitment drive to expand to allow us to meet the growing global demand for our data centre education programs. I, personally, am pleased to see training taking greater emphasis within the data centre industry. There is certainly a realisation of the impressive return on investment, not to mention, the increased technical competence that organisations can benefit from by utilising professionally trained and certified staff.”
