HEG expands management team

HEG appoints Dr. Andreas Palm as CEO of Mass Hosting business division.

Host Europe Group (HEG), Europe’s largest privately owned hosting provider has announced the appointment of Dr. Andreas Palm as CEO of its Mass Hosting division.


Dr. Palm brings with him a wealth of experience in the international hosting arena and his appointment will further strengthen HEG’s Mass Hosting offering. He will be responsible for the strategic alignment of Mass Hosting in HEG’s core markets, including responsibility for Brand Directors, Product Management, Customer Service and the Sales areas of the business.


In his role as CEO, Mass Hosting, Dr. Andreas Palm will serve as member of the executive board of directors and will work at an international level, liaising closely with Group CEO, Patrick Pulvermüller. With this additional support in his management team, Patrick Pulvermüller will direct his focus more strongly towards the international profile of HEG and its Managed Hosting division.


Prior to his appointment, Dr. Andreas Palm was Chief Sales and Market Officer Central Europe responsible for the hosting business of an international company. Following his studies in economics and politics, he completed an MBA and gained a doctorate in the field of post-merger integration. Dr. Palm started his career with McKinsey & Company, where for nearly ten years he was responsible for high-tech and telecommunications projects. Dr. Palm gathered further industry related experience as area manager for global partner sales at a leading German telecommunications and Internet service provider.
