In order to mitigate security risks, Spanish enterprises are prioritising their investments in various security solutions, which have a current penetration rate of 94%. Meanwhile, investments in enterprise applications, cloud computing and business intelligence (BI) solutions are also expected to gain traction among Spanish enterprises over the next two years, and at least 90% of respondents plan to invest in these domains through to the end of 2015. The technology category of enterprise applications is expected to gain the largest attention among Spanish enterprises in the next two years, as 91% of respondents are considering investing in this area to streamline and automate their legacy processes as well as achieve efficiency in their operations.
“Spanish enterprises are taking a keen interest in various business intelligence solutions, such as analytics, to gain constructive insights from enterprise data and consequently adjust their marketing tactics,” comments Tim Gower, Research Director at Kable. Meanwhile, the survey finds that technology vendors, who can offer innovative solutions at high value to cost ratios, are preferred by Spanish enterprises. Kable therefore believes that vendors with flexible pricing models will have an edge in the Spanish enterprise market.
