"The Nexenta agreement helps SYNNEX enable resellers to bring innovative solutions to support customers’ Software-Defined needs while aligning with a fast-growth storage company," said Peter Larocque, President, North America Distribution, SYNNEX Corporation. "As storage management grows in cost and complexity, the collaboration among SYNNEX, Nexenta, and our solution provider community enables customers to offer a truly differentiated storage solution."

Nexenta’s sales model is 100 percent channel focused and targets existing and new partners who are rapidly expanding their businesses. The agreement enables Nexenta and SYNNEX to provide partners the ability to expand their solutions with complete, hardware-agnostic, SDS options for their customers. Whether for the cloud, Internet of Things, Big Data, mobility or other areas of focus, Nexenta is well-aligned with the next technology trends on the horizon. Nexenta’s Partner Program offers a tiered structure with incentives, training and benefits that help partners provide their customers with one of the most affordable storage solutions.

“With the SYNNEX agreement, Nexenta’s SDS solutions reach is broadened more efficiently and effectively through the channel," according to Tarkan Maner, Chairman and CEO at Nexenta. "We are disrupting the MESS (Massively Expensive Storage Systems) by creating new ways to manage and build more efficient storage solutions through the channel today. The expertise, programs, and relationships SYNNEX brings to our existing and future partners gives them the ability to deliver scalable storage solutions that are developed to open standards and integrate into the orchestration frameworks that power today’s data centres."
