“In the last few years, the level of attention towards a correct processing of personal data has grown – says Rocco Panetta - and in particular thanks to the technology revolution based on the internet. The number of economic players who are aware of the value generated by "privacy and IT compliance" processes is increasing. Today, the concept of privacy is no longer limited to its protection only, but rather implies corporate governance decisions as well, which entail a significant level of attention to the security and interoperability of information systems, the corporate marketing strategies, the fight to cyber-attacks, the white collar crimes and the related investigations at workplaces, up to the e-commerce and web compliance. It all needs to be integrated in the different jurisdictions in which the companies’ data flow and are moved according to the cloud requirements and the pursuit of higher efficiency. Such topic concerns all market sectors, no one excluded. In this respect, NCTM’s ability to offer top level assistance, through its offices in Milan, Rome and Verona, in addition to those in London, Brussels and Shanghai, makes the difference on the legal market, both at a national and international level”.
