Custom Connect is the preeminent provider of carrier-neutral, global managed connectivity and infrastructure services. The Dubai location is managed by Jan Willem Meijer, co-founder of Custom Connect and this development adds to the company’s current operations which includes offices in key financial centres in the Netherlands, the UK and the US.

Jan Willem Meijer, co-founder of Custom Connect, said, “The UAE is rapidly becoming a key financial hub to rival London, New York, Frankfurt and Tokyo. Currently there are over 400 financial institutions established in Dubai and that number is growing every day. A powerful ecosystem has been created and we have experienced significant demand for faster, intelligent connectivity to other strategic locations in Asia, the US, India and Europe. There are tremendous opportunities in the emerging markets of the Middle East, Africa and India for our carrier-neutral managed connectivity services and Dubai is the perfect springboard to support those regions.”

Customer uptake in the region is strong and Custom Connect’s Fortune 500 clients have already begun leveraging the company’s new Dubai presence for their cloud and telecommunications deployments.

Working with Custom Connect allows global organisations to reduce the time-to-market and alleviates the operational complexity that often accompanies expansion into new regions like MENA. This is because Custom Connect’s global partnerships with local and international carriers allows the company to design affordable carrier-neutral connectivity solutions and managed services with the highest availability and lowest latency capabilities possible.
