Withington joins Tech Data

Tech Data has announced the appointment of Gary Withington as Corporate and Field Sales Director as part of its continuing commitment to driving excellence in customer service throughout its business.

Withington brings more than 25 years experience of software and solution sales in high growth environments to the role. Most recently, Gary was Executive Vice President UK and Ireland at Misco for two-and-a-half years, prior to which he spent 14 years at Dell in a variety of senior and international roles, including SMB Sales Director for Dell UK.

Martin Boyce, Director of Sales UK and Ireland at Tech Data, says that Withington’s appointment shows our firm commitment to focusing on the needs of the customer. “Gary brings with him a vast amount of experience in both leading large internal sales teams, as well as large field sales organisations. He has held senior leadership roles both in vendor and reseller organisations and I am looking forward to working with him as we continue to drive deeper and wider customer relationships.”
