Key features of EnCase Forensic v7.12 include:
- Enhanced support for Mac Operating Systems – The EnCase agent, which enables investigations across a network, is now compatible with El Capitan - the newest operating system for Macs. As the adoption of Apple desktops and laptops increase the ability to conduct digital investigations into Apple’s OS becomes even more important.
- Greater Visibility into Windows 10 – Users can now parse artifacts such as link files and Windows Event Logs on Microsoft’s newest operating system – Windows 10.
- Faster Hash Analysis and Filtering –Hash analysis operations are now up to 10 times faster than previous versions of EnCase Forensic, resulting in significant time savings and improved efficiencies.
