In addition to its future proof fibre capabilities for speeds of 10Gb/s to 100Gb/s, 400Gb/s and beyond, HI-DEX now adds 10Gb/s Cat 6_A/ Class E_A copper patching modules that have a similar format to the existing fibre solution.

Aimed to satisfy the constant need for higher bandwidth in high performance data centres, Brand-Rex is introducing a new multimode fibre solution that is capable of supporting shortwave wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) technology.

Physically compatible with existing OM3 and OM4 systems, this fibre is designed to extend the performance of OM4 fibre from 850nm up to 950nm, allowing for multiple wavelength signals to be carried over a single fibre and supporting the transition to higher bandwidth applications over existing LC and MPO connectivity.

Brand-Rex has developed a new advanced IIM (intelligent infrastructure management) solution for the world market.

Designated SmartPatch IMS and based on state-of-the-art RFID (radio-frequency identification) technology, the new system consigns into history the need for special IIM patch-cords.
