Norsk Tipping puts its trust in Proact to drive digital innovation

Proact is one of three companies awarded a framework agreement for storage solutions with Norsk Tipping. The new agreement was signed in February. Norsk Tipping estimates its storage procurements to amount to between NOK 40 and 60 million over the next five years.

Proact supplied its first services to Norsk Tipping back in 2011. Since then, Proact has been involved in a number of supply projects and provided maintenance as well, including an ongoing support and maintenance agreement for NetApp.
“We are really pleased that Norsk Tipping wants to have us on board for the next framework agreement period as well. This is a declaration of trust, and we have to prove ourselves worthy of that trust,” says Tone H?fjeld, Director of Sales and Marketing at Proact.
The agreement with Norsk Tipping is just one of a number of major agreements of late, including a major agreement relating to the supply of storage to NRK.
No announcement has been made as of yet in regards to which specific projects will be implemented throughout the term of the agreement.
Norsk Tipping is one of the strongest brands in Norway, and one of the top ten companies when it comes to reputation. Norsk Tipping is aiming to transfer its famous brands to a digital environment. This digital initiative is part of its strategic aim to become even more modern, innovative and customer-oriented. Proact will be helping to achieve this objective by supplying modern and efficient storage solutions.
Norsk Tipping currently has around 2 million customers, and net sales in 2016 amounted to around NOK 7.7 billion. The company employs around 400 staff and supplies games such as Lotto, Joker, Extra, Vikinglotto, Flax, Tipping, Oddsen and Nabolaget.
