In the increasingly diverse global data centre and enterprise market, today’s networks require copper infrastructure that offers reliable, repeatable performance with minimal downtime in demanding, mission-critical environments. To meet these unique needs of IT customers around the world, Leviton expanded its EU Data Centre Factory capabilities to include a full line of make-to-order (MTO) pre-terminated shielded copper trunks in addition to their existing fibre optic trunks. Most trunks can be configured and manufactured with quick turnaround and rapid shipping to jobsites throughout Europe and the Middle East.

The new copper trunk MTO offering is available in shielded EuroClass cable types, including LSHF/LSZH products, with pre-terminated Atlas-X1™, e2XHD, and 10G zone cabling small-diameter, high-density cable options. Leviton’s Cat 6A shielded zone cable has the smallest diameter in the industry, saving pathway space in trays and cabinets and offering a 30% weight reduction. Leviton’s unique Double-Helix looming process prevents kinking, making the assembly easier to handle and highly durable, enabling faster network deployment and optimal system performance.
Headquartered in Glenrothes, Scotland, the Data Centre Factory runs on world-class IT systems with online configurators that allow for rapid pricing and delivery. Leviton’s MTO solutions reduce onsite labour and materials for lower cost and waste compared with field-terminated systems. Pre-tested factory terminations guarantee performance, eliminate the need for field testing, and decrease downtime during moves, adds, and changes.
