China Mobile and ZTE launch 5G-oriented future network architecture

ZTE and China Mobile have presented their 5G-oriented future network architecture design concept, and network slice prototype system. With the latest generation of Intel(r) Xeon(r) processor, the demonstration actively explores and promotes key designs for future 5G network architecture.

Cisco will begin collaborating with Ericsson and Intel to develop and trial what is expected to be the industry’s first 5G (fifth generation mobile networks) router. As members of the Verizon 5G Technology Forum, Cisco, Ericsson and Intel are partnering with Verizon within an ecosystem to accelerate the pace of critical 5G innovations.

CENX has successfully interoperated with Ixia, Mitel, and VMware to demonstrate comprehensive real-time assurance of mobile data services for virtual Evolved Packet Core (vEPC). Using CENX’s Exanova Service Intelligence, mobile service providers can rapidly realize high quality of experience (QoE) for VoLTE, VoWiFi, and data enterprise and consumer subscribers, over large-scale, hybrid networks including vEPC. The demonstration will be shown at Mobile World Congress 2016.
