QLogic supports OpenStack Platform for enterprise and Cloud

QLogic Corp says that the company’s market-leading suite of converged network adapters (CNAs), Fibre Channel adapters and intelligent network interface cards (NICs) are compatible with the OpenStack® platform. Commonly deployed as an infrastructure as a service (IaaS) solution, the OpenStack open-source cloud operating system controls large pools of compute, storage, and networking resources throughout a data centre.

The support of NetApp for Node4’s RDRS means that is able to offer a fully joined up solution for businesses with pre-existing NetApp infrastructure, or those looking to deploy NetApp on-premises, including supplying equipment, ongoing management and protection.
