Matthew Finnie, CTO of Interoute, commented: “Interoute and more recently the Interoute Virtual Data Centre have a long history of providing ICT services to the European government and science community. Our ability to combine networking with computing, gives customers 100% UK data residency assurance, combined with complete control through real time automation. New customers have the option to trial the service for free, giving them the opportunity to see the performance advantage this innovative service delivers, before making any commitment to buy. We have been on board with the G-Cloud procurement revolution since the start so are excited to continue our participation especially as we now move to IL2 and IL3 accreditation”.
Interoute Virtual Data Centre is built into the fabric of Interoute’s pan-European network, enabling organisations to deploy virtual computing and storage infrastructure for their enterprise applications in a matter of minutes. The service brings simplicity and security to the cloud to ensure that, instead of having to choose between the convenience and flexibility of the public cloud or the security of a private cloud, public sector organisations can have both.
