HP says that its Converged Cloud portfolio has achieved significant customer adoption since it was announced a year ago, enabling enterprises around the world to improve agility, speed innovation and lower costs.

HP has been providing cloud solutions for over four years now, and in April 2012, the company consolidated it cloud offerings into the Converged Cloud portfolio, to offer the industry’s first hybrid delivery model based on a common architecture spanning traditional IT, private, managed and public cloud. Since that time, HP has continued to invest in developing technologies for organizations to confidently build, operate and consume IT across all cloud delivery models.


Leading with the industry’s most comprehensive cloud solution offering, HP has secured more than 1,000 CloudSystem and 200 managed cloud customers in over 60 countries, as well as signed on thousands of users for the company’s public cloud solution, HP Cloud Services.

Additionally, the HP Matrix Operating Environment, integrated with HP CloudSystem, enabled Waternet to design and provision a complex infrastructure in minutes via a self-service portal, ensuring predictable delivery and service levels by allocating resources across physical and virtual environments.

Latisys needed an Infrastructure-as-a-Service solution with automated provisioning and orchestration to accelerate, simplify and deliver on-demand scalability. HP CloudSystem has enabled the company to simplify management of different cloud resource pools via automated provisioning, as well as accommodate diverse customer workloads with a platform that scales linearly without unexpected downtime. Further, Latisys is the first service provider to use the OpenStack-based bursting connector included in CloudSystem 7.2 to deliver supplemental pay-as-you-go capacity enabling its customers’ to easily manage uneven service demands.
