Founder and technical director, David Barker, says: “UKAS (The United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accreditation shows that we've been successful at meeting the requirements of international accreditation standards.

“Achieving ISO 27001 certification validates the way that 4D operates. Having our processes audited across the entire company by a reputable audit body, such as NQA (National Quality Assurance), gives our clients further confidence in the security of their data and equipment while it is hosted with us.”

4D appointed Jermyn Consulting to ensure the business was prepared as George Hall, Senior Consultant at Jermyn explains: “By the time we became involved David and his team had done a lot of the ground work and, most importantly, the company’s mind-set was right. David wanted an information security management system that was both effective and durable and not just a certificate on the wall. Two key elements in a successful implementation are good knowledge of the business and active engagement with the process. David and his team delivered both, which resulted in passing Stage 1 and 2 external audits without any major non-conformities being identified.”
