Bull has won a 5-year outsourcing contract to provide IT services to the Tele Columbus Group, one of Germany's leading suppliers of television, Internet and telephone via broadband.

Under the agreement, Bull will provide a wide range of IT services to Tele Columbus at its main sites in Berlin and Hanover. As a result, Tele Columbus will ensure the stability of its IT operations, extend support times, lower its costs and improve efficiency. Bull and Tele Columbus have concluded a contract with six Service Level Agreements (SLAs). On the basis of these agreements, Bull is responsible for providing service area access, back-office, infrastructure, server operations, workplace and complex services.

With Bull's support, we are planning to cut our costs for IT support and at the same time improve services levels. Our customers will benefit, as we will be able to offer our multimedia services even more reliably and efficiently in the future than ever before."

Gerd-Lothar Leonhart, CEO at Bull Germany says: "This contract is key for Bull. It clearly demonstrates that Bull is no longer just a supplier of technology, but also leads the market in the provision of outsourced services".
