Already a trailblazer in the market, with expert knowledge of the cloud through ArrowSphere, Arrow is extending its scope of application still further by enabling all cloud suppliers and users to host and access medical data, whilst guaranteeing the utmost security and confidentiality of the latter.
By combining its cloud expertise via its ArrowSphere offering and the new health amenity of its hosting-dedicated subsidiary, Asplenium, Arrow is positioning itself as the main French protagonist of application hosting in the domain of health data. In this way, major clinical groups like Ramsay Santé (Ramsay Health Care) and several dozen other hospitals are putting their trust in Asplenium for the transparent implementation and management of critical applications, management of patient data and the administrative management of health facilities.

“Arrowsphere, in combination with Asplenium, uses the latest innovations in IT (cloud) to provide a vertical, sectional approach and expertise in the domains of health as well as finance and logistics. It is now in a position to definitively establish itself as the cornerstone of a French ecosystem, which puts application editors (ISVs) in contact with companies requiring highly specialised vertical application solutions on demand,” said Julien Peronneau, vice president services and business transformation, EMEA.

This certification enables the Asplenium team to offer a heightened level of service and comprehension of the business needs at hospitals and retirement centres providing medical care. Furthermore, the current offer will continue to benefit from round-the-clock support and disaster recovery plan offers, as well as being boosted by all the cloud offers from Arrow (Arrowsphere). In this way, protagonists from the health world can enjoy the full benefits of cloud computing.

Christelle Pointreau, Chief Information Officer, Ramsay adds, “We see in Asplenium a concrete solution to our computing needs. Current developments, both in terms of amenities and the extra ArrowSphere has to offer, reinforces this unique position and backs up our choice of partnership.”

ArrowSphere is a cloud service brokerage and aggregation platform that enables the channel ecosystem (MSPs, VARs, ISVs) to resell and integrate best-of-breed cloud services from leading cloud service providers and to propose these services to their customers via their own white label webstore. Launched in 2012 in Denmark, France, Germany, Spain and in the United Kingdom, ArrowSphere allows end user customers to rely on their partners as trusted advisors to purchase and integrate the cloud services they need.
