Panduit Corp. has announced a partnership with Stulz, experts in precision cooling infrastructure and Socomec; specialists in power and energy performance solutions. The partnership will provide a single source for leading solutions - 'Performance Plus' - which brings best of breed products and specialist knowledge from each provider to cover the three foundations of the Data Centre: optimising the physical infrastructure, improved cooling for energy efficiency and dependable power.

It is estimated that around 70% of IT budget is now allocated on powering and cooling the Data Centre. The aim of this three-way partnership is to provide new levels of performance and efficiency with solutions which are designed to work together to reduce energy consumption and emissions, enable space optimisation, extend the lifespan of equipment and improve server reliability and uptime. This will not only help organisations to improve performance levels and reduce overall operational expenditure but also to create a 'cloud-ready' physical infrastructure.

The partnership team can deliver complete and individual Data Centre Solutions from initial consultation through to development, installation, and ongoing support. As the growing complexity of the Data Centre environment increasingly requires expertise in each of these critical areas, this partnership will enable enterprises to access specialist know-how, in order to meet cost, efficiency and sustainability goals for their Data Centre.
Gary Gould, Marketing Director of Panduit comments: "Performance Plus marks a new approach in which we can better address customers’ individual needs. Data Centre professionals now face huge pressures to meet business requirements for uptime and throughput while reducing energy and operational costs. At the same time, the explosion in virtualisation and cloud computing is adding to the complexity of the physical infrastructure. We decided to work together in partnership with Stulz and Socomec to provide access to bespoke solutions and specialist skills from experts in their field in each of the critical areas of the infrastructure to help customers maximise efficiency and future-proof their Data Centre environment."
