Hundreds of HP industry partners saw the leading IT reseller collect the award last night at the HP Gold Partner Special Forum at the Hilton in Park lane, London. This time last year Softcat collected the same top award along with ‘HP Storage Partner of the Year’ and the ‘PSG Partner of the Year’.
“We are absolutely delighted with this”, said Martin Hellawell, chairman of Softcat. “HP probably enjoys the best channel in the industry with the most established and largest number of partners. To be chosen as the best of the best for the second year in a row amongst such distinguished and well-respected competitors is very humbling. We enjoy a fantastic relationship with every bit of HP’s business – whether that be servers, storage, networking, services, software, security, personal systems or print. I think our ability to sell and support the entire HP range and our leadership position in every category is a major reason for winning this award. The award is testament to the great collaborative work that goes on every day between the teams at HP, Softcat and the thousands of joint customers we serve together.”

Softcat is accredited by HP as a Converged Infrastructure Gold Specialist, and back in February won the HP enterprise Group Excellence Award for EMEA as a result of increased revenues across the portfolio. Over the past few months alone, the company reached the global finals for Microsoft’s Partner of the Year award, and has also won Sophos’ Mid-Market Partner of the Year, Mimecast’s Premier Partner of the Year and NetApp’s Platinum Partner of the Year.
