The Challenge
WiIdnet needed a technology partner to support its flagship software solution, Wild Commercial and improve its disaster recovery capability. In addition, the company was looking to upgrade its ageing technology infrastructure and sought a provider that could deliver improved performance and reliability levels whilst reducing IT investment and running costs.

Operating in a high-value, fast moving industry, Wildnet required a reliable managed service that would deliver high levels of flexibility to a broad customer base featuring both starts ups and industry giants, as well as enabling Wildnet’s own workforce to be more mobile as a result of the project.
The requirements were demanding – as a software development and IT service company, Wildnet required autonomy over a high performance, scalable platform that would support its software development programmes, plus a robust managed service for their hosted production environments.
The Solution

Following a rigorous RFP process, Wildnet selected Adapt as its strategic technology partner to deploy and manage a refreshed core technology infrastructure.

Adapt’s award-winning eVDC platform now both underpins the delivery of Wild Commercial and hosts Wildnet’s internal systems. The highly available architecture scales both technically and commercially, delivering continuous availability with built-in dual site DR that offers Wildnet and its customers complete peace of mind.

The eVDC platform has given Wildnet access to an eightfold increase in compute power and double the storage at no additional cost, additionally reducing time to provision new environments by 75%. Since moving to the platform over 18 months ago, Wildnet are also happy to report 100% uptime on customer sites.
