Syncsort expands regional systems integrator programme for Big Data practices

Move is aimed at growing partnerships built around Syncsort’s data integration solutions across Windows, Linux, UNIX, Mainframe, and Hadoop. Syncsort is extending its partner programme to actively recruit regional systems integrators (RSIs) that have Big Data practices. Syncsort is looking for RSIs that have specialised systems integration solutions and services expertise that will add value for customers using DMX-h, DMX, and MFX ETL and Sort for a broad variety of use cases to sort, integrate, and process Big Data in support of critical business intelligence and analytics.

“As companies tackle Big Data challenges, the common denominator is finding innovative solutions that drive better business outcomes in less time, with fewer resources and at a lower TCO,” said Josh Rogers, president, data integration business, Syncsort. “With our Data Integration solutions, RSI partners can add value by helping customers achieve this goal.”

RSIs joining the programme can benefit from engagement with a proven industry leader with thousands of customers. They can also leverage broad opportunities to help customers with Big Data challenges across Windows, Linux, UNIX, and Mainframe, as well as increase their capacity to participate in the emerging, high-growth Hadoop market.

In addition, Syncsort is one of only 12 vendors included in Gartner’s Data Integration Magic Quadrant.

RSIs practicing in the Hadoop space can leverage a free test drive of DMX-h ETL Edition that contains everything needed to experience Syncsort’s Hadoop ETL solution without the need to set up their own Hadoop cluster. The package includes a Linux Virtual Machine with Cloudera CDH 4.2 and DMX-h ETL Edition pre-installed, along with Use Case Accelerators and sample data.
