The ZXONE 9700 has single sub-rack cross connection capacity of 14.4Tbps, higher than all current commercial products of the same type in the industry. It is also upgradable to 400Gbps in clusters, and is capable of packet cross connection. The ZXONE 9700 has the highest number of traffic access slots of any OTN product in the industry and can perform ODU0/1/2/2e/3/3e2/4/flex multi-granularity electrical cross connection without disruption. It can also implement integrated access, cross connection, and transport of various types of traffic. The channel processing of ZXONE 9700 is flexible, which improves bandwidth utilisation and reduces network pressure.

“The ZTE ZXONE 9700 is adaptable to the ever-changing demands of the OTN industry,” said Mr. Xu Ming, ZTE’s Bearer Network Product Line General Manager. “Its flexible scheduling and service management monitoring capabilities meet the needs of operators around the globe.”

ZTE has successfully deployed the ZXONE 9700 in over fifty 100G trials in commercial networks. According to OVUM’s 2013 Q2 global optical network market report, ZTE’s optical network products rank No.1 in the world in market share growth compared with the previous quarter. In the segmented OTN field, ZTE market share is No.2 in the world, according to the report.
