The manufacturer places innovation and the evolution of its industry at the top of its agenda, with offices and production facilities based across the Americas, Europe and Asia, its specialised print processes demand a very precise level of temperature control.

Richard Sizer, Engineer at ICS Cool Energy explains Free Cooling: “It is an economic method of utilising low external air temperatures to assist in the chilling of water, which can then be used in a company’s industrial processes and air conditioning equipment”. With potential energy savings of up to 70% made available without having to compromise the output or ability of equipment, Free Cooling technology offers an economically viable, smarter means of cooling, subtly enhancing facilities whilst also serving as a much more positive influence to the environment.

“The Free Cooling integration options include the addition of a dry air blast cooler to function adjacently with existing chiller systems, or the installation of air blast coolers to units where low temperature water isn’t required. At this particular application, engineers retro-fitted a Free Cooling coil which presents the company with a viable modification option, preparing the business in the face of ever-rising energy costs whilst also allowing for the most accurate, reliable level of temperature control to be provided in support of its specialised processes.”
